The
National Honor Society of Pensacola
High School is an organization of
students with outstanding academic stature and character at Pensacola High
School.
The purpose of the National Honor Society is to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render services, to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage the character development.
If you are a student who is interested in becoming a member of NHS, you must at least have spent one semester in Pensacola High School and be a second-semester sophomore, junior, or senior. Also, you must have a cumulative scholastic grade average of 3.5 unweighted grade point average.
Admission to the organization is based on election by a faculty committee which is headed by the advisor(s).
If you or someone you know is affiliated with a non-profit organization, please note that NHS would be glad to help out in fund raising, food drives, and any other of community services.
